Shao Yong (secondary named Yaofu, and posthumously titled Kangjie) was a Chinese Neo-confucian, scholar on I Ching, historian and poet in Northern Song Dynasty. He lived in Luoyang (now in Henan Province) reclusively for a long time. He founded Prior-I-Ching-ology (PI), which core is Prior-Image-Number-ology (PIN) with a profound influence. Huang Ji Jing Shi was the work of his philosophic thought, as a poet, Yi Chuan Ji Rang Ji was his poetry anthology. The later leads to a new poetic style: Shao Kangjie Stye.Free form, insipid style, homy and peripatetic theme, and philosophical poetry, all of these features were criticized for too much of philosophy while lack of aesthetic feelings. These features are analyzed in this paper. The main point of view is all these features are influenced by his Neo-Confucian aesthetics thought, which is closely related to philosophy thought (including PIN, personality cultivation, and Epistemology of Observe Thing As Itself(EOTAI)). These include the following three aspects: philosophic poets are the concrete product of speculative logos aesthetics, is the embodiment of the aesthetics that truth and Tao is beautiful homy and peripatetic theme reflect the ethic esthetics of Internal Saint and External Kingliness, and is the embodiment of the aesthetics that respectable is beautiful; free form and insipid style, is the embodiment of the aesthetics that natural is beautiful. This shows that Shao Yong did not abandon the pursuit of aesthetics in his philosophic poetry, prose-styled poetry, and insipid poetry, but obtained more from the Neo-Confucian aesthetic pleasure.
