The Phonological Research Of Dongtou Minnan Dialect In Southern Zhejiang Province

This thesis studies Minnan dialect in Fujian and Dongtou in Southern Zhejiang Province,it includes two parts.Firstly,we do comprehensive and systematic description of phonological systerm,the literary and colloquial readings of Dongtou Minnan dialect.We sum up some characteristics of Dongtou dialect in phonetics.1.the Yangsheng rhyme finals such as -m -n -(?) and Rusheng rhyme finals such as -p -t -k have been changed,as a result,the number of finals reduced.2.it has 8 tones,Rusheng in the spoken dialect became lax,Yinru rhyme interfused Shangsheng rhyme,and Yangru rhyme became a new tone.3.differences between colloquial and literary readings.Secondly,We analyse the similarities and differences between Fujian Minnan dialects and Dongtou Minnan dialect by comparing.Through studying the differences among three aspects: the change of -m/-p finals,the laxation Rusheng rhyme and the envolvment of main vowel in literary readings of Ru-tones.This thesis concludes that the law of phonetic development and the social factors bring out these differences.
