Outlaws of the Marsh and Dream of the Red Chamber are two bright stars of the classic novels in China. From the perspective of the consciousness of gender, we can see that they are two obvious peaks of gender consciousness in the history of the classical novels in our country. In recent years, the academe has got great achievements on researching their version and the media, ideological values and cultural traditions, the style and the art form of the text. However, they didn't pay enough attention to such facts like the conception of the gender and the characteristics, the underlying cause of the different conception, and the impact of the aesthetic by the gender perspective. Although some sporadic articles had being come out, they are lack of systematic analysis on the whole. Therefore, analyzing the consciousness of gender as well as related question to more systematic and theoretical, it has certainly academic value and the theory significance to the present study of them.Based on the gender conception, the conception and the characteristics are the researching objects. Also, this paper will try to explore the internal reason of the different conception of the gender, analyzing the impact of the aesthetic form by the consciousness of the gender. By analysis, we can see that the progress of the gender conception of the author with the development of the times, particularly in the female consciousness. Though the author could not divorce from the ideology of male discourse in the whole feudal era, Cao Xueqin did not want to change the traditional gender relations; he would like to change the negative attitude to the culture of women. To some extent, Cao Xueqin's conception of the women is indeed a pioneering, and he reflected some humanistic care by the affirming the value and the cultural significance of women.This thesis is composed of six parts:The first part is prolegomenon, giving the introduction to the sources of the thesis, the status in quo, the objectives and the creative point overall. The second part starts to interpret the important figures in the case, summing up the gender conceptions and the characteristics of the male and female of the two texts from macro level .In the next, it will explore the internal of the different conception and give the deep research from the micro level. In part four, it will link the gender to the aesthesis, one reflected the gender identity of the male major, representing the magnificent performance of the aesthetic style ,the other one reflected focus on the female gender identity, conveying a blend of the aesthetic form. Despite the "magnificent" and "beautiful" aesthetic are the traditional conclusions, I put aside the traditional language of the narrative and the mode , linking it to the gender , so it is also a new perspective inspecting literature. Part V, the gender and culture will combine. Through the study of the gender culture and rising the literary to the cultural level, thus readers can have a deeper understanding of the cultural of the gender and the aesthetic connotations from the works. Part VI for the conclusion. The real concern of the literature is the rich aesthetic and pleasure, not the rigid fact. Literary activity is the individual spirit of creation, we can appreciate the sense of the sublime; also can appreciate the mellow from the text. Different works have different aesthetic conveying, which builds the variety of literary activities. The emotional and aesthetic are not have good or bad points, then the evaluations for the male and female gender roles can not have good or bad evaluation points. Sublime for male and mellow for female are still the mainstreaming of the culture of the gender, but this conception should be built on the basis of equality between men and women.By analyzing the consciousness of gender, promoting the culture of women, enhancing double temperament, obtaining the deeper and higher equality of the gender in cultural field, then achieving the pluralism of the conception of aesthetics, are the significance of this study. The cultural ideal of Double Temperament is not only reflected the author's humanistic care, it is also satisfied with the current public aesthetic tastes. It has the great real significance to build the harmonious society.
