The study on the learning disability which belongs to the field of psychology and multidisciplinary research has gradually become a hot issue. The study on the learning disability students in alexithymia, especially on the underlying causes of the learning disability, has also been more attention. In terms of the theory of affective information process, the learning disability students and normal subjects were tested with affective priming paradigm to compare their differences between stages of subliminal automatic processing and liminal control processing. It is significant to compare the affective priming differences between different types of learning disability students. It has theoretical and practical significance to explore the psychological mechanism and systematically reveal the internal disable causes and provide the diagnosis, correction and treatment of students in learning disability. For the subliminal process, the presentation time of priming stimuli was 10ms, the stimulus onset asynchrony (SOA) were 10ms, 150ms, 300ms; for the control processing involving conscious expectation, SOA were the same, priming stimuli appeared 250ms.The results showed that: (1) there was a prominent priming effect only in normal subjects, but no effects in alexithymics learning disability students in the subliminally automatic process. Moreover the effect on the different types of learning disability students also shows the significant difference. (2) In the liminal control processing stage, under the condition of 10ms SOA and 300ms SOA, alexithymic group spent significant longer time to make decision compared with normal ones, though they also have expectation effect. In conclusion, alexithymics might have deficits not only in subliminal automatic process, but also in reorganization of mental strategies.
