Louis Althusser is always in the position of defending Marx and put all his heart on re-interpreting Marx in order to safeguard the truth of Marxism.In the mid of last century, the Existentialism humanism raised by Jean-Paul Sartre is popular in France and overflowed in the International Communist Movement especially with the change of Soviet Union's political situation. So some left flank intellectual began to doubt Marxism and put Marxism under humanism. Face with this situation, Louis Althusser struggled to propose his own opinion of Marxism. He is opposed to consider Marxism to be humanism but anti-humanism.To interpret and grasp Louis Althusser's view of Marxism,we should firstly understand the accurate connotation of the concepts he used.
