The current emotion researches have been made substantive results, and most studies use picture or music as a stimulus to induce the corresponding emotion. However , in our real life, the most emotional experiences are generated in the combination of different stimulus modes. Furthermore, when different stimulatve modes are combined to induce emotions, the induced effect increases very intuitively,but the most study overlooked the neural physiological mechanism of the improved effect. Therefore, Study of the induced emotional experiences and its physiological mechanism of different stimulus modes is very necessary.In this paper,the author selected 60 female college students as subjects, and adopted some pictures from IAPS as visual stimulas , Chinese classic music as audio stimulas . In addition, each stimulas was divided into happy and sad modes. Using picture, music and andio-visual combination as stimulating materials, made them induce emotions, and recorded the O2 saturation, finger pulse volume, skin temperature, galvanic skin response, heart rate and respiratory rate simultaneously. Using both a subjective questionnaire and physiological indicators to explore the intensity differences in the induced emtions, and the trends of subjective experience and physiological indicators when stimulating materials end.The three experiments shows that three different modes of audio-visual stimulas successfully induce the corresponding emotions: happy stimulas evoked a pleasant mood, sadness evoked a sadness;second, the mode of audio-visual combination makes the biggest induced strength, followed by the picture stimulus, the most leak strength is the music stimulus;thirdly, three induced happy and sad mood restore quickly, pleasant stimulation on inhibition of sadness and sadness of stimulation on the inhibitory of pleasant is very long, there' s a significant emotion sense after the stimulus cease five minutes; forthly, when viewing happy pictures, heart rate declined, and when viewing sad pictures, heart rate increased. Listening sad music can make finger pulse volume increased significantly. At last, the happy combined audio-visual stimulation can make heart rate and finger pulse volume declined, the sad combined audio-visual stimulation make heart rate and finger pulse volume increased.The induced effects of audio-visual combination is better than the single channel stimulation. The evoked emotion restore faster, while the corresponding inhibition of emotional restore slowly. Combination of audio-visual stimulation can cause more significant physiological changes, but the relation with each of physiological decreased.
