The Study On The Phenomenon Of Verb-Object Lihe Words In Modern Chinese Which Can Be Followed By Objects

In modern Chinese,verb-object lihe words(离合词)are a special kind of words,which is composed by"verb"+"object".It refers to the syntactic units whose structures are so loose that some other components can be inserted among the original elements,without causing change in glossary meaning and structural relationship.So far, there are continuous discussions on it.However, those discussions rarely had the phenomenon of verb-object lihe words which can be followed by objects on the condition of combination in mind . Based on the previous researching, we kept on studying on the phenomenon of verb-object lihe words.According to the present situation of studying on verb-object lihe words,the essay gathers a large amount of materials, and concludes main judge standards of it: they are word, and they may enlarged limitedly. In modern Chinese, they are a special kind of words, which is"verb"+"object"form , but not a phrase. At the same time,we select 2145 lihe words in Modern Chinese Dictionary (5th edition) and The dictionary on useage of lihe words in modern chinese, then make an analysis on types of object part of lihe words,which can be devided in ten sorts.Based on our study, verb-object lihe words appeard in the war period which in two thousand years ago. But now these phemomenons in titles of articles on internet web and papers. So we can make a conclusion that this lingustic phenomenon was a composite result of language using and itself'development in history. Affected by some linguistic principles, verb object lihe words display much important effects in communication, and these will be a gteat power to their development. At last,we make a comprehensive conclusion on our study, pointed out some shortages and aspects need to be improved in follwed studying.
