Classroom teaching, a basic and important form of teaching to complete educational goals and tasks, not only offers students a better chance to achieve their self-education and self-development, but also provides a main channel to promote quality education. This paper aims at providing a study of classroom teaching of English by adopting interaction theory, input and output theories and humanistic theory. Through various forms of teacher-student interaction in classroom teaching, students are able to participate fully in all kinds of activities through which they can not only understand what teachers and peers say, but also respond to it, that is, to speak in English. So the student is the listener as well as the speaker. An ideal classroom teaching is full of the two-way interactive activities among the students and also between teachers and students. Therefore the classroom interaction is the combination of listening and speaking, interspersing speaking in listening and improving listening by speaking. This paper attempts to interpret the significance and feasibility of the research. Based on the reflection of the traditional teaching methodology, we try to explore effective classroom teaching from different perspectives and how to combine the theory and practice into classroom interaction is the priority of this research. Through the interaction between teachers and students, students' interest and initiative in learning English can be stimulated and their ability to communicate with others in English will be greatly improved.
