Well-being is a life goal that everyone is caring for and seeking for, Happiness is the psychology used to measure the degree of self-concept of well-being. Social well-being from the social dimensions to research the individual happiness, focuses on the social relations and social tasks of the social field, indicate that the quality of adaptation level in their social relations, it is more concerned about the individual's contribution and integration of the social.College student is a special group of the social, they are at a critical period of growth, face of education,work,interpersonal and other important issues, the study of social well-being of college students has important practical significance. In addition, in the study of the social well-being factors, with the study of the relationship between parental rearing styles and social well-being is very little.Therefore, based on the previous research of home and abroad, we construct the social well-being model of college student, establish the social well-being questionnaire which meet the psychological demands. Then discussion the developmental characteristics of social well-being of the Chinese college students and the relationship between the social well-being and parental rearing patterns.The conclusions of the study are as follows:(1) The social well-being of college student is the model that is first-order five-factor. It mainly includes social integration,social acceptance,social contribution,social actualization,social coherence. The social well-being scale has good reliability and validity, can serve as a tool to measure the social well-being of college student in our country.(2) The development level of the Chinese college students social well-being is in the middle to upper level.(3) The social integration and social acceptance dimension in the grade is significantly. Were as follows:dimension of social integration in the third grade at the highest level, and significantly higher than the sophomore grade level; social acceptance in the first grade at the highest level, and significantly higher than the third grade level.(4) The social integration and social coherence dimension in the gender is significantly, Were as follows the male is significantly higher than the female.(5) The social integration and social acceptance dimension in the professional is significantly. Were as follows:in the social integration dimension, engineering students is significantly higher than science and other types students; in the social acceptance dimension, arts students is significantly higher than science and other types students.(6) There is extremely significant difference in the social well-being in which whether the college students is student leaders or not, and student leaders are superior to non-leaders. In the social integration and social coherence dimension is significantly, as a leader is significantly higher than non-leader.(7) The social acceptance and social coherence dimension in the whether a only child is significantly. Were as follows:in the social acceptance dimension, not only a child is significantly higher than only a child; in the social coherence dimension, only a child is significantly higher than not only a child.(8) The social acceptance and social contribution dimension in the monthly family income is significantly. Were as follows:monthly family income less than 1000yuan is significantly higher than the monthly family income more than 3000yuan.(9) The social acceptance,social contribution and social coherence dimension in the monthly cost of living is significantly.
