The employment pressure is severe, in view of this situation, the thesis investigated the independent college senior students of the employment pressure, social support and coping strategies and the correlations among the three, which aims at providing theoretical support for the employment guidance and mental health counseling in independent colleges.The research uses the Employment Pressure Conditions Test Table, SSRS and SCSQ to test 347 juniors and seniors of The City College of Jilin Architectural and Civil Engineering Institute and Boda College of Jilin Normal University, analyzed the statistical data obtained, knew and analyzed the conditions of the employment pressure of independent college students. Using t test and the analysis of variance to analyze the levels of employment pressure of independent college students, the differences between social supports and coping strategies among the groups and approaches the correlations among the three.By analysis, the following conclusions obtained:(1)The independent college students who participated in this survey have higher levels of employment pressure, particularly in the competitive environment and lack of job search help.(2)Different groups of students in independent colleges have differences in the factors of employment pressure. There are professional differences between supply and demand in different majors. There are gender diffeneces in the expectation of employment psychology. There are differences in the student leaders or not in the evaluation of professional quality, self-awareness and orientation. There are differences in the normal students or not in contradiction between the professional supply and demand.(3)Under social support there are no differences in gender, profession or normal students. There are differences between urban and rural areas in subjective support. In the utilization of support there are differences between the student leaders and those who are not. (4)In coping strategies of independent college students there are no differences in gender, normal students or not, student leaders or not or coming from urban or rural areas. There are professional differences in the positive response.(5)Employment pressure and social support showed significant negative correlation, employment pressure and coping style showed significant negative correlation and social support and coping style showed significant positive correlation.(6)The independent college students can use more social support and adopt positive coping methods to reduce the pressure on employment.
