I tried to sort out the essence of Eilot's early literary critic in this thesis. I linked Eliot's time and background when I explain and interpret Eliot's theory .Comprehension of Eliot's theory can help us to understand the Morden Turn of 19 th to 20 th century English Literature .TS Eliot is a milestone of 20 th century English Literature. He tried to save people live in morden times, his literary critic tried to save the literature that can not reflect social reality, inspire people to think of new literary possibilities.He disclosed the misunderstandings and contempt of tradition and promote a kind of dynamic tradition .The word"tradition"is in a Incorrectly understood notion and concept in Eilot's environment. He thinks poet should be restrain emotion and personality in the poetry. The thesis of"objective correlative"is treatment of overflowed and vague personal feelings. The"objective correlative"means usesing a series of objects,scenes, events to display particular emotion.
