There are four national important scenic regions that consist of Danxia landscape in Fujian west mountain region. They are Wuyi Mountain, Golden Lake of Taining, Taoyuan Cave-Stone Forest of Yong'an, Guanzai Mountain of Liancheng. They play leading roles in the tourism industry of regions that them belong to. Danxia tourism regions are resource's tourism regions, have similarity natural scenery and tourist markets locate nearby, their developments are also taken seriously. These factors result in inevitable spatial competitions among them. At the same time, the four tourism regions have their own specific characters of developing tourism industry. So the essence of competitions between them are non-fungible. By using methods such as investigation, interview experts, sampling survey, statistics, etc, the article analyses their general characters and individual competitive advantages in five aspects: tourism resource, tourist market, tourist environment, administrative behavior, and intervening opportunity. It is suggested that three strategies of competitive exploitation, distinctive exploitation and cooperative exploitation should be considered to construct mutually beneficial and sustainable spatial competitive patterns of Danxia tourism regions. Guarantee systems about coordinate developments of Danxia tourism regions are suggested to establish. Thereby, the goal that constructs tourist essence products with famous brand of Wuyi Mountain by limpid water and red mountain and improve general prosperous of west mountain regions in Fujian province should be achieved.
