Many administrant have the opinion that performance appraisal is very important to a company. We can use it to evaluate the capability and performance of employees, estimate stuffs' development potential. According to the appraisal, we train the stuffs, make use of them and make out HR plan. Performance appraisal is so important that every firm, regardless of its style and scale, has its performance appraisal system.But what is the inside mean of performance appraisal? What is the reasonable performance appraisal system of a enterprise? How the result of appraisal connects with the company' salary, rewards and punishment and inspiring system. All of the above problems exist in most of companies, and they become the bottleneck of the appraisal system to go smoothly and take the important role in firms.This essay is a practice of Sichuan traffic engineering CO.LTD. From the management system suited for the company and market, we abstract its core context and critical part-performance appraisal system and introduce it.The core idea of the performance appraisal system is to build up professional personality, increase harmony and communication between stuffs, mobilize employee's self-ability, emphasize the hard work of employees and prove it to the company. The system adopt "goal management" and "spirit inspiring" principle, and translate employee's post responsibility into plan and goal, and also adopt the style "from bottom to upper", "from upper to bottom". Formulating appraisal context and index in advance, combining the employee's self-prove and appraisal of supervisor, combining performance appraisal and self-inspiring, it make up a newly performance appraisal system.Researching on normal performance appraisal, introducing and comparing SET's performance appraisal system, the essay explains a newly management andcontrolling method in firms.
