Researching About The Political Participation Of Chinese New Social Class

The appearance of Chinese new social class is an inevitable result of the time theme changing, of the reform and open policy and the modernization construction of China. The new social class which appeared after our country reform and open policy was confirmed authoritatively and its political significance was affirmed in The 16th Representative Conference of the Communist Party of China. The new social class as an important strength of constructing the Chinese characteristic socialism is playing the extremely vital role in the state economy, politics and the cultural life. The strengthening economic power of the new social class boosts its political awareness as a social person, but in real situations, they failed to reach a relatively equal state in politics. Their political participation motive is utilitarian, their participation exists different level and the participation psychology is inconsistent. These cause them not to be able to participate in political activities widely yet and also cause some problems and puzzles in their participation process. So, on the premise of persisting the Marxism theory for the instruction, according to our country's reality, from the viewing angle of the economics, sociology and the politics, using the political sociology theory and method, referring some valuable aspects from the western social stratum theory, facing and paying attention to the political proposition about the political participation of Chinese new social class, the political proposition is thought about creatively and multi-dimensionally and some beneficial exploration is carried on in this article. Starting with the general theory of new social class, the general concepts of the social stratum, the new social class and the political participation are briefly elaborated. Then, through analyzing the basic premise, the vital significance, the present situations, the existing questions and the difficult positions about the political participation of the new social class, how to guide and expand the orderly political participation of our country new social class is researched. The purpose of the researching is to seek the ways by which the political participation of new social class can be assimilated to the political system in the socialism modernization advancement, so to expand the orderly political participation of new social class and promote the construction of socialist democratic politics. We mainly need to deal with four matters. The first is to build the political culture to standard the politics participation of new social class.
