The Study Of Citizens' Orderly Political Participation On The Process Of Building A Harmonious Society

Political participation is an important concept in politics, it is the core of democracy. In the era of economic globalization, democratization and cultural pluralism, political participation shows a widening trend. The process of development of modern democratic politics is also the process of expanding political participations, the higher the level of a country's political participations, the higher the degree of the country's political development. At present China has proposed building a socialist harmonious society, Harmonious socialist society is material civilization, political civilization and spiritual civilization develop cooperatively. In the process of building a harmonious society require for the orderly development of civil and political participation. Fully developed political participation is not only the requirement of the socialist democracy, but also the requirement of Socialist Harmonious Society. Citizen political participation is the measure of a country's democratic development and social justice, and also is a benchmark of social stability and harmony. Since the reform and opening up policy, China's political participation has been greatly improved, but it is also restricted by economic development, political system and other factors.Based on the above ideas, the paper launched on the relationship between political participation and the building of a harmonious socialist society:The first part of this paper will analysis the theory of political participation. Mainly analysis the essence of the political participation and the orderly political participation.The second part focuses on the relationship between orderly political participation and the Harmonious socialist society. Mainly from the promotion of socialist democracy and the rule of law, protection of social equity and justice in such areas.The third part will analysis the political participation of the situation and the existing problems. Discuss the factors of Influencing the development of China's political participation. The study of our citizen's political participation should be based on the current status quo, political participation of citizens in terms of participatory knowledge, participatory approach and participatory degree have been significantly developed. However, economic, political system, political culture and political quality of its citizens and many other effects makes political participation in China also have a series of problems. For example: there is imbalance situation of political participation of different social classes; crisis of confidence in political participation channels appeared; non-institutionalized political participation appeared frequently.The fourth part, combined with our reality, made to promote the basic path of orderly political participation of Chinese citizens. First of all, in order to push forward our citizen political participation, need develop the socialist market economy and provide the material basis for orderly political participation, and also need improve the breadth and depth of orderly political participation. Secondly, we need establish a sound system of political participation. For example: reform the electoral system of People's Congress, increase the influence of civic election; improve the system of civil hearings, enhance citizen participation in government decision-making influence; sound the people monitoring system, enhance the ability of monitoring and participation. Furthermore, building a socialist political civilization to provide a good social environment for orderly political participation; reinforce the political education, enhance the level of citizens'orderly political participation. At last, we need expand the area of political participation and levels.The main methods of writing this paper are: (1) the method of combining reading literature and empirical analysis. In the process of discussing the status quo of political participation, not only need qualitative description, but also need empirical data and information. This requires a lot of reading both domestic and foreign books on political participation theory articles, through the extensive and accurately literature reading, grasp the theory and rules of political participation. By a large number of primary data collection and empirical analysis, draw accurate conclusions. (2) The method of case analysis and overall understanding. Chinese citizens is a very broad concept, only by firmly grasp the workers, peasants, intellectuals, private entrepreneurs and other typical cases; we can draw accurate conclusions of contemporary political participation of Chinese citizens. (3) The method of systematic and emphatic study. In this paper, the theory of political participation practice, constraints are to be discussed; there are three important issues in this paper: First, the study of political participation theory. Second, the status of political participation of Chinese citizens. Third, the thinking of expanding the orderly participation in political affairs of contemporary China. The innovation of this paper is the orderly political participation of citizens to define their relationship with the issue of building a harmonious society. In the current research results on political participation should be said that the information is rich, but the research on orderly political participation theory is few, the research on the relationship between orderly political participation and harmonious society is even fewer. Therefore, this question will be the focal point in writing this paper.
