Discussion On Performing Arts Of Wushu Routine

Nowadays, Since competition of Athletic Wushu routine owned its purpose of "high, difficult, beautiful, new", it was demanded to be more artistic and admirable. But more people began to blame its low-level-performance and its similarities as dance and gymnastics, which block its development. There were many reasons. Theoretically, few theoretical studies could not catch up with practice which proved that we were lack of knowledge about Wushu routine performance, let alone systematic assumptions. So experiences were not used efficiently to support practice, which disturbed the deeper development on artistic extent.Using materials and aesthetic theories the author analyzed the productive process of Wushu routine performance theoretically, avoiding one-sided opinion, at the same time, classified the current content of performance, and compared it with other performances in order to understand the art of Martial Art performance comprehensively and profoundly.The author found that the art of Wushu routine performance is an activity which depends on the method of performance. Its basic task is building valuable object of art, Wushu routine performance pattern. There are three aspects decide this pattern:arrangement, performance and amalgamation.To Martial Art performance the main character is performer and its art is the performer's new creation. Compared with other performances Wushu routine'foundation is its formulaic poses. These kinds of poses constitute the communication between the performer and audiences.through structural analyses, we found that in its basic fragments, pose and rhythm, speed and power are all exterior modalities, which should be harmonious. Cadence expresses the performer's feeling, which is controlled by different technique theories and chewed by the audiences. It is the key of its difference from others. Therefore, formula, feeling, and their connection are all important for Wushu routine.The competition of Athletic Wushu routine contains "place, field, music, techniques, light, and decoration". Some of them are used to express the performer's art, while some are good for the understanding of audiences. Analyzing these fragments is helpful for the coach to improve in order to highlight its admirable values.
