eObjective:The human equilibrium is a necessary capability in physical exercise and in daily life activities. Measurement and evaluation of balance has a very important significance. This reasurch aim is gathering the indicaters of dynamic balance instrument and static equilibrium apparatus to have a comprehensive analysis, compared to simple method of measurement results of equilibrium, then to select the balance of the measured indicators with better reliability, validity and sensitivity. To verify the feasibility of balance indicaters for evaluation of middle-aged and the erders's equilibrium, to provide theory and data supportfor the establishment of a suitable balance measurement of middle-aged and the erders.t.Subjects:40 years or more population in Beijing (concluding 85 men and 112 women), each group divided with five years.Methods:Get the measured indicators of dynamic balance ability and static balance using simple balance test and the balance apparatus, choose better indicators of the balance apparatus, while the body mass index and the status of the subjects that the associationConclusions:(1)The simple balance test can be used to measure and evaluate roughly on middle-aged and older persons because of low difficulty good reliability and sex sensitivity. (2) the static equilibrium apparatus'indicaters such as X-axis movement distance of normal standing EO, X-axis with one leg E0, Y axis movement distance of linear feet EO, Y axis speed of normal stangding EC, the ratio of radius and the side of track's area, have high sensitivity to age and sex, then as X-axis movement distance of normal standing EO, X-axis with one leg EO, Y axis movement distance of linear feet EO, the ratio of radius and the side of track's area have the good reliability, so can be used on middle-aged and the old's static balance assessment. (3) physical factors have the impact of the interaction on middle-aged and the order's dynamic and static balance, but they can not be expressed by physical factors.
