Through the intimate cooperation of the State Physical Culture Administration and Bureau of Education, football has entered many primary and middle schools throughout the country which has brought hope for the development of this game. Football coaches are critically important for school football in order to keep it running good and stable. Football coaches' attitude and behavior are directly affecting their education, thereby affecting the quality of teaching and training football. Football coaches' satisfaction is a most fundamental and important to their work. Only they satisfied with this job, the quality of teaching and training football can be ensured, furthermore school football has a better development.For inspecting satisfaction of football coaches, the study uses questionnaires survey, observation, statistics and other research methods, as well as interviewed some football coaches in the primary and middle schools in Beijing. The conclusions as follows:1. The job satisfaction of primary and middle school football coaches in Beijing is at the general level. For football coaches, the satisfaction level of the relationship with colleagues and work environment is higher, while the satisfaction level of the support of the community, wages and benefits is lower. The nine dimensions of satisfaction with the order from the highest to the lowest are as following: the relationship with colleagues, work environment, the relationship with leaders, the relationship with students and their parents, self-realization, the work itself, work stress, social support of all communities, wages and benefits.2. Through systematic analysis on the 9 dimensions, it is found that primary and middle school leaders'target of school football is not clear. And parents do not show enough support for their children to participate in football. At the same time, the subsidy of the football coaches does not have guarantee. The current environment of Chinese football (National team first, Match-fixing, Gambling), little campus football competition, and the lack of training courses for football coaches in Beijing, all these aspects seriously affect the job satisfaction of football coaches, thereby affects the development and popularity of football in campus.3. Through the comparison with the job satisfaction of different types of football coaches, it is found that primary and middle school football coaches'job satisfaction is different when they are in different situation. Such as, school, age, teaching seniority, education and instructor'grade, all of these condition and qualification have different influence on football coaches'job satisfaction. In traditional football school football coaches'job satisfaction is at high level. With the increase of their age and years of teaching, football coaches' job satisfaction level improved accordingly. The job satisfaction of football coaches with higher education is at low level. And high graded football coaches' job satisfaction is also at high level.
