The Social Construction Of Cyberspace And The Reproduction Of Culture

When the previous studies analyze the relations of network technology and the social culture, it emphasizes the influence culture on the construction of technology, or the impact of technology on culture. The method of the linear analysis ultimately fell into the entanglement of social determinism and technological determinism.This paper which uses network theory of actor as a tool explores the construction process of cyberspace, and it analyzes the relative macro-relationship of various actors in the process of construction with field theory,and it which combines the overall framework of micro concepts and macro concepts reveals the social construction of cyberspace and the process of the reproduction of social culture, at last it tests tentatively the theoretical framework of the construction through specific cases. This paper argues that in the construction of cyberspace social culture, as the actors of non-human factors, not only makes the whole network of actors completely, what's more, it plays the role of temporary stabilizer, and it is the premise of the Cyber cultural formation. Cyber culture is the product of various actors'"consultation" , and it is the reinforcing agent of network's stability, and it simultaneously points out the features of the recruiting tool in the construction of the new network. We analyze the relationship of various actors in Cyberspace Space and society "field", and point out the hierarchical relationship of various actors, which specifically performs the phenomenon of cultural reproduction on the premise of different quality and quantity of capital. We analyxe deeply groups of Internet users, and we find that cultural capital is an important determining factor of their pracrice on line. On the one hand the visit habit, decoding ability and virtual symbols by the transformation of cultural capital is the behavior directions of their online activities, on the other hand they give their practice to certain restrictions and constraints. All of the above, the process of the formation of cyberspace can be understood as a kind process of construction and the process of the reproduction of culture. Has important practical significance, theoretical and historical significance.
