The purpose of this study was to determine professional characteristics and motion principles of muscle strength, enhance training efficiency of muscle strength further more, shorten sports time and avoid of injury in elite boating athletes as possible. We tested and evaluated 25 kayaking and rowing players with Cybex6000 Strength Testing System. In four testing speeds, we analyzed the testing data of horizontal abductor and adductor of shoulder in kayaking players, flexion and extensor of knee in rowing players and those of trunk in all of players. We can conclude that kayaking and rowing players are according to the Hill?s theory on muscle motion as well as they have their own professional characteristics. There are some significant traits in horizontal adductor of the kayaking players?shoulders, flexion and extensor of the rowing players?knees and those of all players?trunks, and all these traits are correlated to professional achievements significantly. Professional characteristic speeds of trunk motion of all subjects are about to l8O~ Is.Liu ShiminDirected by Zheng Yihua...
