Swimming athletic performance depends on physical fitness and skills. Physicalfitness is the basis and technology is the guarantee. They are complementary andindispensable. Swimming special teachers who want to improve the students’swimming level should not only develop technology, but also strengthen thecomprehensive physical quality of students at the same time.As we all know, the majority of swimming action is completed with theparticipation of shoulders, the size of shoulders play a vital role in the test results. When the high elbow action coupled with good shoulders flexibility, not only makespecialized students move arm relaxed and pull lengthened and enable them to holdthe water in place. At the same time, the strength of muscle around promote the body forward andmake the joint stability. But in actual swimming training class, the shoulders jointflexibility and the strength of muscle around imbalance is easy to cause the shouldersinjury, which affects the speed and performance. Furthermore, static stretchingtraining as traditional stretch training will lead to the stretch reflex in a long period oftime, which is not conductive to improving the quality of power, also can appearmuscle fatigue, tissue ache, stretching angle and amplitude is not enough; anddynamic stretching training as traditional stretch training have energy consumption, easy to injury, exercise intensity, easy to produce fatigue and not conductive to thedevelopment of flexible quality. In short, static stretch training and dynamic stretchingtraining cannot be a good way to improve the flexibility and power quality. For theexisting problems, we need a new method to improve the flexibility and the powerquality obviously. Based on the review of relevant literature, although PNF stretchingtraining as a new method to take into account the improving flexibility andstrength,.no studies have shown that the effect of the application of swimmingtraining. Therefore, the whole study based on the experiment towards three kinds ofstretching skills. To compare dynamic stretching, static stretching and PNF stretchingthrough flexibility and muscle strength. In order to prove the actual effect of the swimming specialized students’ shoulder flexibility and power quality. The results arefollowing below:1. PNF stretching can evidently promote the flexibility of swimming specializedstudents compared with dynamic stretching and static stretching(P<0.05).2. PNF stretching with “passive stretching-statics-relaxation-active sport “mode byusing Myotatic Stretch Reflex and Inverse Stretch and Reciprocal Innervation todecrease flexibility index of shoulders and improve the range of shoulders. It effects isobvious, which can be applied in sports practice.3. PNF stretching have significantly improved in the average power, relative averagepower, total work and relative total work before and after training.4. When athletes in PNF stretching in the fast movements, shoulders muscle explosiveforce level increased significantly(P<0.05).5. When athletes in PNF stretching in the fast movements, the total power of theshoulders joint improved significantly(P<0.05). The working ability of musclestrength improved significantly.6. PNF stretching have significantly improved in the100miters freestyle stroke scorebefore training. Show that using PNF stretching method after the preparations, theprogress has been improved obviously. It is an effective means of auxiliary training.
