Integrity is a traditional virtue of Chinese People and ancient topic of human being. Confucius said, "I don't know how a man without truthfulness to get on" . Along with the socialism market economy going deep into development, "the credit" will be the man' s important capital. Today' s youth must be the cornerstones of every walk of life tomorrow. They are our nation ' s hope and future and guarantee of our enterprises triumphant. The youngsters should be the group with more integrity character, which is the demand of the time and themselves and is determined by the role and function the youngsters will play and perform in the future society. Recently, with the infection of all kinds of negative factors of the society transfer period, integrity deficiency has been prevailing in various fields in our society and has eroded man ' s moral ideology and value concept, including the youngsters. The state of their integrity character makes all circles of society pay high attention to .So the cultivation of the youngsters' integrity quality will be crucial in the whole society in china and should especially be included in the agenda of school' political , ideological and moral education . With regard to the stern realities in our country the thesis presents a comprehensive exploration both practically and theoretically on this issue . It follows into five divisions. They read as follows.Introduction: facing the stern reality that integrity quality is becoming more and more rare quality among youngsters, the thesis expounds that the strengthening of integrity education and cultivation of integrity quality among youngsters are certainly important project both of practical and theoretical significance in political, ideological and moral education in china' s schools.Part I: The definition of integrity and the significance of integrity education. The thesis first offers the systematic historical development of the implication of the concept integrity and then new implication are bestowed on the concept after the full absorption of the rational elements of the main ideas on integrity of the thinkers at home and abroad. The thesis also demonstrates theoretically that it is possibly and necessary to carry out integrity education. The necessity mainly originates from the new century' objective demands on the youngsters and the crying need of the youngsters' growth and development. The possibility depends on the human nature towards the good and the improvement of the integrity and ethic environment.Part II: The analysis on main manifestation of integrity deficiency and the reasons. The thesis first describes comprehensively the reality that integrity crisis is convert in various fields in society with more emphasis on the manifestation of integrity deficiency among the youngsters and the thoroughly analyzes the reasons of integrity deficiency among youngsters. The important reasons are as follows: the innate defects in traditional culture and ideology; the negative effect of the pernicious influence of the Cultural Revolution; the temptation of the profit-directed consciousness in market economy; the out-of -balance of moral norms during the social transformation periods; the imperfectness of the social institution; the abnormal government behaviors; the defects of family education and the political, ideological and moral education at school etc.Part III: The way out for integrity education. The thesis holds the view that the cultivation of the youngsters integrity quality is a complicated and systematic project. Firstly, the cultivation of integrity quality requires thecontinual innovation of the moral education itself at school. The paper points out that the subjects in tradition integrity education are not the educated themselves, so that the subjects' emotional embodiment is ignored so far as the aims, processes, contents, and methods are concerned, and the education has deviated from the free development of the human life.
