The Practice And Research Of Integrity Education For Junior High School Students

Integrity is our long history tradition. Integrity and trustworthiness is the symbol of the Chinese nation outstanding character, is the traditional virtue of the Chinese nation, is the basic contents of our citizen’s moral standards, the cornerstone and is also a sign of modern society and civilization. However, along with the market economy unceasing advancement, the diversification of social economic life, the development of the times, the concept of multi impact, the lack of integrity plaguing the world, integrity calls every corner of society throughout life.Integrity concept is related to intrinsic value and judging standards of integrity, which includes integrity, integrity will and cognition. This essay takes junior high school students of No.2 Experimental School Affiliated to Shanghai Normal University as the research object. It uses various research methods, such as, literature, questionnaire and interview. It also analyses the current situation of junior high school students’ views on integrity.The study found that the junior high school students whose concept of integrity has no obvious difference in sex. The sixth graders in integrity, the integrity behavior and education recognition are slightly better than the students in the other three grades, but their will in integrity is weaker. There are no apparent differences in the investigation in view of integrity among the other three graders.According to the analysis results, the related teachers and the author explored some strategy of junior high school students’ integrity education in No. 2 Experimental School Affiliated to Shanghai Normal University.Through the practice and research, the paper put forward the solution to improving the integrity of junior high school students at school, that is: create an appropriate environment, design colourful activities, find the ways of integrity education in class, strengthen teacher training. In addition, the school should help the parents with the integrity education in family. In the mean while, the school should pay more attention on the integrity education in community.
