Creation is the soul in character education and also the endless motive force and sources of the development of teaching .To put creative education into practice has become an important subject on the adaptation of the foundational education to knowledge-based economic challenges and training creative talented persons. To set up the mathematics classroom teaching mode for the purpose of training students with creative power and ability of practice is an important task to realize the reform in current foundational education and is also a strategic problem relating to the implementation of character education .On the basis of the research into the theory of creative education in mathematics, this article has approached the creative educational contents and target of mathematics and summarized the basics principle of putting into practice the creative education in mathematics. I grasp the developing trend that the mathematics teaching mode has turned from one alignment to diversification and synthesis through the research and summary. In the process of the mathematics teaching practice in senior high school, I have made a brave and creative attempt, set up and gradually improved six kinds of mathematics teaching mode of creative education and obtained good results.With the further development of the reform of the mathematics teaching, the creative mode of mathematics teaching is sure to emerge in large numbers. I do not think the creative mode of mathematics teaching should attend to each and every aspect and have a good assortment of mode. I hold the view that the mode should be flexible and changeable and that the mode should make the key points stand out. We should promote the different teaching mode to repair the fusion with each other and make great efforts to obtain the unity of the contents and the forms and the order and harmoniousness of the activities between teachers and students so that the classroom teaching can be vivid, practical and efficient.
