| Biology is a natural science regarding experiment as the base. Experiment teaching is very important in biology teaching. The reformations of domestic and international course put importance on the education of students' experiment and studying abilities. The function of the biology experiment and the characteristic of inquiry study determine that the biology experiment is an important path to inquiry study. However, the present condition of biology experiment teaching is not satisfying. The main problem of experiment teaching lies in the fact that teaching ideas, teaching method and evaluation methods fall far behind. Based on theories, to carry out the inquiry teaching centering on students and promote the over-all development of the students is very crucial.Through theories and investigation with practice, the article studies the teaching target, basic construction, teaching strategy and the teaching evaluation. This essay clearly definites the experiment inquiry teaching and provides the complete teaching case as an example of inquiry teaching of Biology experiment teaching.The results about the investigation of the experiment teaching indicate that the ability of students designing experiments and analysising experiment has obviously increased, and the enthusiasm of studying biology has greatly been increased and the students has fundamentally formed scientific attitude and increased the inquiry ability.Practice has proven, when the experiment is used as a path to inquiry study, the creativity and inquiring characteristic of the biology experiment is showed out then and well. Experiment inquiry teaching is a valid way to promote the students' scientific attainment. This article aims to install the bridge between the fulfillment and the theories, and to set up a terrace for teachers creatively carrying out experiment inquiry teaching.
