This phenomenon have aroused much attention of varies circles. On the basis of others' research result in relation to how to combine traditional culture education in Chinese teaching, the author of this thesis attempts to research into how to cultivate the students' good habits of Chinese learning through series of activities; to make them accept traditional culture naturally in the course of habit cultivation; to help the students feel traditional culture by focusing on the recitation and analysis of the texts; to cultivate the students' interest in extended reading so as to experience pleasure of inquiry and to grasp the soul of traditional culture; to guide the students to sorting out and summing up the accumulated knowledge about traditional culture so as to achieve the sublimation of cognition of traditional culture and have complete and rational cognition; to guide the students to the thinking of the important role played by traditional culture in solving so many social problems at present; to experience the boundless vitality of traditional culture and to deepen their impression on traditional culture through such activities as investigations on traditional holidays and folk customs, to further the understanding of the significance of the Chinese character and the appreciation of the art of calligraphy. It is very important to combine traditional culture education with Chinese teaching, to deepen all the Chinese teachers' understanding and mastery of traditional culture, to call on the whole nation to understand the importance of traditional culture, to correct the mistake of lowering the status of the native language and to create a favorable social environment for the students to accept traditional culture by means of law, administration as well as propaganda. Only by working together can we effectively promote traditional culture education and make it function well.
