The globalization of the world economy makes English a more and more important language tool in international communication. More and more children begin to learn English, which makes English Education in kindergartens become a hot issue. This paper makes a investigation of kindergartens in Xingtai City, probes into the problems of English education. Based on the analysis, the author has a practical research in Jinghua Haoyang Kindergarten.The main methods in the study are questionnaire, interview and observation. The main contents included in the study are as follows: understanding of English education, contents and ways of English education and conditions about English teachers. We find, most of the leads of kindergartens and teachers can realize the importance of English education in kindergartens and the necessary of language acquisition by setting up language environment. Most of the teachers can realize their own deficiencies. At the same time, some problems about English education in kindergartens are found. Firstly, leaders of kindergartens and teachers have one-side idea. Secondly, different kindergartens have different education contents by kinds of teaching materials. Thirdly,' the leaders of kindergartens and teachers have realized the importance of setting up language environment, but it is difficult to perform. Lastly, the educational levels of the English teachers need to be improved.Aiming at solving these problems, some practices are carried out in Jinghua Haoyang Kindergarten. The steps are working out education aim, choosing education contents, defining the ways and training the qualified teachers. The aim is to build children's interest to English, to set up self-confidence, to train the sense of language and form good individualities. The contents chosen can improve children to develop. The teaching materials chosen are extensive, connecting with children's life and local custom closely. The ways implemented in English education include inside classroom environment, such as mixed-age class, study pattern of music, study process of game, scene perform of drama, teaching subject of story, and outside classroom environment set up by parents and teachers together. The plan of training professional English teachers is put forward as a guiding ideology about the unity of large quantity, rapid speed and high quality.
