Football is considered as the most influential sport in the world. Through mass media the influence of it is far beyond the sport. Currently, this relationship has become an prevalent phenomenon, and it will be an inevitable trend for both of them to seek more effective interrelationship, which will play an important role in practice. How to deal with this relationship well is a problem that needs to be solved in the professionalized of China's football.By realizing the interrelationship of the professional football and mass media that established in practice, grasping the interactional principle, and analyzing the main factors that attribute them to choosing each other, this thesis puts forward valid approach that can promote interrelationship of them, providing scientific basis, deepening the knowledge about it. The thesis has important academic value and is practical.The scientific research can provide correct direction for the developing process of things, and the correct application of the scientific theory can let things follow their own law of development. The objects of the thesis are the professional soccer and the mass media. By using the resources, consulting experts, comparing and making research on the logical proof law and the case study law, the mass media, the professional soccer as well as the interrelation have been defined. Though the study, mass media maintains the five functions: mediating social relationship, monitoring social environment, inheriting culture, adjusting body and mind, and developing economy. The mass media should develop their advantages and avoid their disadvantages that will help to achieve a better interrelation with the professional soccer.This thesis interrelation considers that the mass media and the professional soccer have important social value, and the two have built the natural relationship long long ago. They influence each other and gain mutual development. The professional football provides abundant resources attracting the attention of so many audiences and promoting the development of attention by its special charm. Pursuing economic benefit is an inner impulse of mass media and professional football's interaction. The main decisive factor is the developing fund that they want to acquire.
