Basic education course reform of 21st century emphasizes"the key point of fostering the spirit of innovation and practical ability, building new teaching models and promoting the learning model reform". At the same time it especially emphasizes students'active participation and individual study. So experiential teaching is becoming the exploring direction of all courses. It plays a very important role in the education reform.For mathematics teachers of primary school, because of their different abilities in understanding experiential teaching theory and its application, problems occur. The series of problems that occur during the course of experiential teaching design are unsuitable experiential content, unclear experiential objective, using experiential teaching strategy improperly and no innovation in experiential valuation model. In order to solve these problems, according to my investigation in Shanghai Kangcheng Experiential School and Shanghai Baoshan Tongzhou Model School, I try to propose a Primary Mathematics Experiential Teaching Design Model and try to do research combining experiential teaching with a primary mathematics course teaching design. I hope to solve the above problems, at the same time, I can propose a set of systematic and scientific methods so primary mathematics teachers can design experiential teaching properly and scientifically, and their experiential teaching ability can be promoted. What is more, my model can stimulate students'interest for mathematics, improve their active-learning ability and their ability of using mathematics to solve problems. My model can promote the development of students'mathematics higher level thinking.Firstly, this paper did a review on the present condition of experiential teaching, the related articles and that experiential teaching has already entered into primary school courses. Secondly, this paper classified the problems occurring during primary mathematics experiential teaching design. Thirdly, based on the present condition and problem analysis, I have proposed a Primary Mathematics Experiential Teaching Design Model and explained all the details of this model. Finally, I did one experiential research for this model and showed its practical value.The innovative points of my paper are concluding one double-cycle chart of experiential learning and experiential teaching, inducing the mathmatics course style,teaching desingning according to the inducing ,and proposing a Primary Mathematics Experiential Teaching Design Model. I hope this model can promote deeply the application of experiential teaching in course research.
