With the continuous development of education, the Course criteria of Ideology and Politics in Senior Middle School was introduced in March, 2003. Therefore, the change of teaching style is quite necessary. In my view, one remarkable modification is that cultivating students'ability of self-learning, self-selecting and self-exploring has been written into the new criteria. Thus, teachers are supposed to encourage students to cooperate and think independently. Students are supposed to observe, operate, discuss and explore the teaching content in order to cultivate their scientific attitude as well as the spirit of innovation. Teachers need to own a certain kind of quality and ability to adapt themselves to the requirements of new course. The teaching of reflection approach stresses the importance of cultivating the students'ability of self-thinking and self-learning. Teachers need to modify the traditional teaching style and direct the students to grasp the scientific learning approaches and eventually grasp a kind of ability of lifelong learning. Putting the teaching of reflection approach into the implement of the Course Criteria of Ideology and Politics in Senior Middle School is good for reaching the target of it. The teaching of reflection approach advocates that teachers should reflect and explore their teaching, considering the teaching as a uncertain course and solving the problems properly according to the situation. What's more, reflecting the teachers'experience and setting up their teaching theory can improve the teachers'ability. This approach is not only related to the teaching course but also to the teaching results. According to the Course Criteria of Ideology and Politics in Senior Middle School, in order to combine"thegoal--strategy--evalation"to"activity--experience--behavior", practise ought to be stressed and the exploratory study style should be advocated. Teachers should reflect all the students'teaching activities and it is the best way to implement the criteria. As far as I am concerned, it is necessary and possible to implement the teaching of reflection approach. Here is my summary of using this approach which I've written out in order to share it with others and improve my teaching ability.
