The Research On The Experiment Of Small Football Pitch Competition Situation's Influence On Football Skill Teaching

There is a concept that skill is the core in football circle .China's football skill level falls behind other countries mainly because the gap in international advanced football theory .The fundamental feature of football sports is fierce competition so football teaching and training can't be divorced from competition environment. That football teaching should be in confrontation and small pitch competition environment is the pinciple of European and American advanced football skill countries .However, other non-confrontation sports item teaching method is still used in China's football teaching and training classes,which is probably the cause of the difference with other countries . 2008 Beijing Olympic Games is around the corner ,so it is necessary to research on advanced football theories and teaching experiments of developed football countries in universities .According to the principle of sports skill transference and advanced football concept , this paper is on the establishment of small pitch competition situation to fulfill the instruction in college football classes .Teachers in Beihua University did an experiment to their students with this method .The chosen students who selected football sports course were divided into two classes. One was instructed on small pitch competition situation and the other was taught by traditional teaching method.To ensure the credibility , teachers made a balance in the light of students' skill levels before experiment and made a comparison between the two class on their skill level improvement .Teachers also gave out questionnaire on students' learning motivation level after experiment and analyzed the data by statistics . The experiment result was as followed : after 4 month' teaching experiment , the skill level of the experimental class students was on the average over that of the traditional class students . The research result proved that small pitch competition situation is positive to students' football skill improvement and learning motivation increase and should be applied in football sports teaching . This experiment not only enriched college football teaching and training theory but also broadened horizon for fellow teachers . It made learning transference principle feasible and provided ideas of deeply researching on advanced football theory ,teaching and training methods of football-developed countries .In the meantime ,it made reference for other confrontation items instruction ,training and scientific research .
