Studies On The Chinese Sports Arbitration System

With the development of reform and opening in China, sport disputes are increasing gradually. Because Sports Law was issued a little later, there are many disadvantages in it, especially lack of feasible methods of dealing with sport disputes, many of which are figured out by the sports association in practice. However, international countries sport disputes are often solved by the sports arbitration system.Based on the analysis of the sports arbitration system and the Court of Arbitration for Sport, the author of this paper attempts to explore solutions to sport disputes, which are suitable to Chinese circumstances, and propose to construct Chinese Court of Arbitration for Sport.The Sports arbitration system possesses many characteristics such as flexibility, speciality, efficiency, secrecy, internationalism and so on. It embodies the Party's autonomy, which is one of the effective ways of solving sport disputes.As all kinds of games will begin in China, whether sport disputes can be dealt with fairly and efficiently becomes the focus of the world. Therefore, it is necessary to build Chinese Council of Arbitration for Sport and set up a good sports arbitration system in China.
