Research On Text Design Of Educational Theme Site

The educational theme website is an important part of network information resources, the effective supported platform of distance education, on-line research and personalized learning, the virtual learning space supporting for a new way of learning, and the product of educational informationization. As one of the sites, the educational theme site is also constituted by many webpage elements, such as image, audio, video and text which account for the largest proportion in the page. Because much important information of the site is showed up by text, text design plays a vital role in the whole webpage design. It can be said that the text design not only directly influences the quality of the whole site, but also affects the mood, the interests and the acceptance of site's knowledge of learners. At present, educational theme site has been widely applied to teaching and learning, however, it is not difficult to find that text of pages has a wide range of issues in the basic format and layout design, because designers are lack of knowledge of text design as well as have not recognized the importance of text design. For this reason, the text design of the educational theme site is studied in this paper which is relying on the photography basis educational theme site of Communication College in Shandong Normal University to provide some help for the future design and research.This paper includes five chapters. The concept, characteristics and classification of the educational theme site are introduced, the text's role and application in the educational theme site is analyzed, problems which exist in the educational theme site are indicated, and subject's research significance and methods are addressed in the first chapter of this paper. In the second chapter, theories of text design of the educational theme site are introduced in detail, which include cognitive theories, visual theories and color visual perception theories. In the third chapter, the design of text's basic format which includes font, size, style, space, emphasis and color of text is systematically reviewed. In the forth chapter, the text's layout design in pages is researched, the basic principles, general law and factors that are taken into account are illustrated, and the layout design ways of heading text, linked text and body text are specifically introduced. In the fifth chapter, it takes example of photography basis to analyze the design of text's basic format and layout. The summary and outlook are carried out in the conclusion of the last part.The methods of literature research, observation comparison and induction analysis are mainly utilized in the course of study, under the guidance of cognitive theories, visual theories and color visual perception theories, the text design of the photography art educational theme site and well-known universities site at home and broad are referred to, and the text's basic format and layout design are in-depth studied. The innovative researches of this paper mainly have some points as follows:1. The text is systematically studied as one of the important parts of the educational theme site's development and design for the first time. In the paper, it not only systematically illustrates the text's basic format design, but also focuses on the layout design of site page through practice and case.2. Text's design ideas and implementation process of educational theme sites are brought up under the guidance of cognitive theories, visual theories and color visual perception theories and drawing text design methods of graphic design.3. Combining the text design of the photography basis educational theme site and well-known universities site at home and broad, the text's application and design in the educational theme site are specifically analyzed positively and negatively. In each chapter, it is associated with the page design example, which riches the paper as well as increases the reference and the practice of the paper.
