Chinese Football League started in 1957,10 teams participated, in 1994, the first Chinese League A had a formal opening, with a Chinese Football reform chapter. Since 2004, the Chinese football levels and football market had continued to mature, and the Chinese Football Association had launched the "China Football Association Super League" (short:Super League). In December 1992, China's first professional football club-Beijing Guoan Football Club was formed. Then, professional football clubs had been also been set up by provinces and municipalities.Professional football clubs appeared in China in the early 1980s. They accelerated the process of marketing and industrialization of China's sports industry and made great contribution to the development of China's sports industry. In the period of system-shift, there emerged many defects of professional football clubs, such as the imperfect system, the ambiguous ownership, the poor management system and the obsolete human resource evaluation. They restrict the development of professional football clubs in some extent. Particularly, the current method of human resource management, performance evaluation, has become the bottleneck of the development of professional football clubs. It influences self-construction of professional football clubs, efficiency of market separating and core competition of professional football clubs.With further development of professional football and enlargement of China Football Association Super League(CSL), the club of CSL needs a new management mode. Presently, the researches about professional football club mainly focus on the system of club, marketing and management of club. However, there are few researches on the management of human resource of the club. Now researches about management of human resource mainly focus on the management of coaches and managers of the club, while few on the management of players, who are the main body of the club. Professional football club is the subject of the CSL, and players is the subject of the club, only give the athletes scientific and effective management, the club will be a benign operation, and the CSL will do a good job, the level of Chinese football will be improved.Based on the theory of systematic and performance management, the paper makes a breakthrough of the traditional concept of performance evaluation, and proposes a special system of performance management for players to provide a new idea for the management of the CSL football club. The system includes four basic elements about the players'performance management:objectives, contents, implementation and effect. Give the performance of players a implementation of science, dynamic, continuous monitoring during a performance appraisal cycle, and make an objective evaluation, which can help players improve performance and build a high performance football club.
