Preschool teachers'professional identity plays an essential role in the up growing of this specialty, first of all, it is the premise for preschool teachers to make a significant progress; furthermore, if the preschool teachers have a supreme identity in this career, they are supposed to be able to devote to their job with a huge enthusiasm and active attitude. Besides, it is also a kind of motivation with which they can accomplish with high efficiency and quality. Last but not least, professional identity is inherent impetus behind them to move forward. Strong professional identity exerts a pivotal role as well for non-professional preschool teachers as a member of nursery workers' team. This investigation by questionnaire demonstrated that non-professional preschool teachers in city Shanghai have a relatively higher professional identity in general, however, a fluctuation was found in diverse factors among which "emotion"," competency", " dedication" and "social supports" were highly acknowledged while on the two dimensions of "continuous promise" and " aim confirmation", relatively lower identity was laid. On top of that, for non-professional preschool teachers, co-existence of advantageous feelings and crisis feelings, attainable outer-support resource as well as fair material benefits play important role in professional identity. In the meantime, social reputation, low income and insufficient motivation refrain the development of professional identity of non-professional preschool teachers.On the dimension of emotion, non-professional preschool teachers feel more happiness from getting on with kids and more "sense of achievement" from being needed by kids but few from "sense of pride" in this vocation. Usually, they believe they are competent enough in this vocation, nevertheless, always doubt about their "research aptitude". The goal of out professional career is predominant factor of the whole.The root cause of difference in professional identity of different non-professional preschool teachers lies in the difference in pressure and culture efficacy cause. Levels of kindergarten really affect obtaining of supportive resource for preschool teachers. The a professional post is very important for professional stability, so it indirect influence the professional identity. Preschool teacher whose major is art has superiority in professional identity level.I suggest that we promote preschool teachers'social reputation and economic status initially. Then, make sure preschool teachers have a right recognition on research, release their professional pressure and kindergartens should work out suitable cultivating scheme according to circumstance and encourage preschool teachers to form a high standard vocational pursuit.
