Wind cold and wind heat syndrome are the most common TCM Syndrom es of infantile fever. Early treatment is needed when systemic symptom either heavy or light. Dosage will changes appropriately according to the age of children. Frequency of taking drug per day is two to four. Record the changes of temperature and TCM syndrome score before and after treatment, and evaluate therapeutic efficacy. Composition of Shanggan NO.2:honeysuckle, forsythia, Radix Scutellariae, fried bitter almond, Chinese bellflower, hydrated gypsum, rhizoma anemarrhenae, fig wort, Mint, caulis bambusae, medicated leaven, fritillariae thunbergii, Bupleurum sinenses DCã€radices paeoniae alba and glycyrrhiza uralensis. Record, collect and sort the date from first-visit, return-visit or telephone follow-up, and discuss the statistical results to observe the antipyretic effect and TCM symptoms changes. At last, Analysis and summarize the clinical curative effect of Shanggan NO.2.Result:5Cases were clinically cured (10%),31(62%) markedly effective,12cases (20 %) effective, the total effective rate being 96%, and no obvious adverse reactions were observed. According to the statistical results, the research illustrates a stark difference on TCM syndrome integral between before and after treatment. There are significant effect in the improvement of fever symptoms, and no temperature reiteration after temperature returned to normal. It proof that Shanggan NO.2 has a definite therapeutic effect on wind-heat type exogenous fever of child.Conclusion:Shanggan NO.2 can relieve fever effectively, improve accompanying symptoms with non-toxic natural, and has definite clinical effect.
