Construction Of Hospital Performance Appraisal System

Governmental hospitals not only have the function of public services, but also face the challenges from other types of hospitals. A question for governmental hospitals to figure out is that how to survive in the competition and remain their characteristics of social services? Using an efficient performance appraisal in the management system of governmental hospitals is an essential part of enhancing the competitive under such circumstances. Performance appraisal has function of evaluation, examine and analysis of employees’behavior. This dissertation combines the theories of performance appraisal and delicacy management and tries to figure out how to build up a performance appraisal system for governmental hospital from the perspective of delicacy management.This dissertation takes M hospital as an example, based on the analysis of the hospital’s management system and the reviewed literatures about the related theories, figure out a practical method to build up a performance appraisal system. The dissertation presented and compared different methods of designing the performance indicators. Focusing on the specific departments, the dissertation puts forward different performance appraisals from a delicacy management perspective relying on the different characteristics of the departments of the chosen hospital. To examine the effect of the use of performance appraisal, the dissertation will compare before and after the use of performance appraisal of the same department, and will also compare different issues of performance indicators between different departments. By analyzing the results, this dissertation will present some considerable performance appraisal methods for all the governmental hospitals.
