A Study On The Chinese Characters In Japanese Ancient Dictionary

It has been two thousand years since the Chinese characters were brought toJapan.It was used as phonetic writing at first.But the Chinese characters are used forideographic writing now time.I was wondered that what kind of transformationhappened to it in the long time.In view of that question I began to write this thesis.The forest resources of Japan is so abundant that the side of a Chinese characterwhich uses [木] is a lot. So I chose the Japanese word dictionaries in the past and tryto find the differences between them.In the research,I found that it is important to findout the origin of the words.So I used the kangxi dictionary to do the research.It is obvious that the Japanese characters is coming from China,and the quantityof the Japanese characters is changing all the time through the research.I hope toarrest the Japanese characters’ developing direction through the thesis.
