| In the labor market where supply exceeds demand, secondary vocational collegestudents who at a competitive disadvantage in the employment market face greatpressures. Thus my paper is designed to better understand the psychological pressureof those students ’ social support and employment situation, and also promote thework on psychological health education and employment guidance. Basing onliterature review, my research will be mainly conducted through questionnaireinterviews, namely <psychological pressure of secondary vocational college studentsquestionnaire interviews> and <table on social support scale of the youth>, whichrequire to select430Yu xi secondary vocational college students in grade one tograde three to learn about their psychological pressure of social support andemployment situation. On such basis, I will combine the interviews of teachersresponsible for job hunting and those students who are tested on the lowest andhighest score to deeply analysis the phenomenon.My paper will finally try to reach the following conclusions:1. on the whole, vocational students ’ psychological pressure on employment isabove the average level. Although it is slightly lower than college students’ level,secondary vocational college students’ comprehensive quality is equal to the collegestudents’ level. Except the significant demographic variables of the employmentexpectations pressure, there are no differences in secondary vocational collegestudents’ raw job competition pressure, the overall quality, professional supply anddemand.2. Generally, secondary vocational school students ’ social support is positionedabove average levels. In the secondary vocational student’s social support, objectivesupport scores the highest, then following the subjective support score, while thesupport availability have the lowest score. In three dimensions and the total score ofthe secondary vocational student’s social support, not only the professional category,gender, enrollment categories exist great differences, but also score of objectivesupport and social support and the supportive availability have some differences in grade,undertaking positions, and times of rewards respectively. In terms of thesecondary vocational student’s social support, it is poor at the support availability,which still remains to be enhanced.3. The secondary vocational student’s social support has significant positivecorrelation with psychological stress on employment.Therefore, my study will put forward some measures on how to adjust thesecondary vocational student’s social support to relieve psychological stress. Thecollege should in line with social demand and adjust the curriculum; cultivating thestudents’ cooperation consciousness while teaching, improving the availability ofsupport; home cooperate with school to strengthen employment guidance and services,optimize the secondary vocational student’s employment psychological environmentso that we can best enhance the secondary vocational student’s social supportobjectively. Besides, The college should strengthen the students’ self-awareness andself-understanding, adjusting the students’ employment awareness, changing students’employment conception.
