A Study On The Songs Of Marriage Ceremonial Ceremonies In Shuicheng County, Guizhou Province

The traditional wedding ceremony of xiaohuamiao, which contains ceremony processes and songs reflecting the characteristics of custom and music, is an important part of its customs. Combined with results of previous works and applied ethnomusicology, music ethnography, music theory of morphological analysis, the processes and songs of Guizhou xiaohuamiao were in-depth investigated and discussed after on-site inspection. According to the application of processes and songs of wedding ceremony and the characteristics of music, the entire current status of wedding ceremony and wedding song of Guizhou shuicheng xiaohuamiao was revealed.Firstly, this article presented the original features of wedding songs and ceremony progresses in Guizhou. Based on preliminary analysis and study on the music features and styles, basic understanding and conclusion were raised. Under the analysis on the ways and carrier of the wedding ceremony songs transmission, it is found that the ceremony songs were widely inherited and that all people mainly for youths were involved. Additionally, there are two types of the transmission path, familial teaching and piaoxue. The reasons why different forms existing are long term dwelling, customs such as tiaohuajie, regular gathering, closely connection, relatively fixed ceremony progress. In according to the case of Guizhou Shuicheng Guobuga Mrs Li combining records of local traditional festival gathering, wedding songs utilizations are similar. The status and overall appearance of local wedding song of xiaohuamiao were ascertained, according to the case study of wedding songs of Guizhou shuicheng xiaohuamiao. Through to melody, structure, rhythm and characteristics, there are some music features in wedding songs like a song for multi-purpose, free variable rhythm and beats, and the pitch, rhythm and pausing are on the basis of individual voice, physical comfort as a benchmark and other aspects. At last, the wedding music is important for xiaohuamiao, playing different roles such as entertainment, communication, education, culture inheritance. Besides, the wedding music in requisite and carrier for the feature of xiaohuamiao. Finally through the study found that the flower seedlings have important status in life, and entertainment, social, education, cultural inheritance, a variety of functions, is to keep the important condition of flower miao ethnic characteristics and transmission carrier.
