Ling Shuhua with her creative achievements in the academic research situation has certain gap, especially after Ling Shuhua settled in Britain in 1947.The east and west aesthetic differences and cultural differences leading to different psychological expectation of Ling ShuHua literature is not quite as dramatic as like her paintings(except the "Ancicnt Mclodics").This article attempts to analysis Ling Shuhua dilemma state of life through Ling Shuhua existing works and related material such as letters, biographies interpretation settled in the UK, on the verge of bloomsbury culture circle, drifting around the world after 1947.The novel "Ancicnt Mclodics" and Ling Shuhua’s early works in the edge of the psychological description in terms of homogeneity. Ling Shuhua looks on the old woman with a turn of the century bystander attitude and perform her ambiguous abandonment and sympathy. The analysis on this marginalization and the marginalized existence condition of Ling Shuhua has positive significance for a comprehensive understanding of the image of Ling Shuhua.
