Rural-themed literature is an important component in the creation of Chinese mo dern and contemporary literature. As a native of the rural people to show the reality of rural life is a classic combination. As a writer,Zhang Ji devoted himself to inditing Ru ral Novels since 1990`s. His work are full of love for home villageas well as deep con cern and sympathy for farmers. His film and tel evision work were for its humorous and romantic style and attention to rural realities of passion, upsurge caused a round of yet another program with an extensive discussio n in the community, showing the writing quality and depth.
