A large number of excellent composers emerged in Baroque period. John Sebastian Bach is the soul among them. Bach is the father of music. He has high prestige. Especially Bach’s flute sonata repertoire is always the classical flute performance in playing techniques. The works include all aspects of the flute performance skills, such as fast and coherent fingers movement, changeful, clear tonguing, the big jump between different range and the control of tone breath in slow movement. The playing technical difficulties even beyond many large flute works of later composers. Only on the premise of grasping the music characteristics of Baroque period and the clear understanding the background conditions and the performance style, to succeed in show perfectly the music features of works and self modern style interpretation of performers for works.
