An Analysis Of The Artistic Features And Performance Of Del Pierko 's "Classical Style Suite"

Derbenko is famous accordion educator, player, and composer in contemporary Russia. He composed and recomposed a large number of accordion works. “Suite in Classic Style” is a suite, which consists of 7 pieces and was composed by Derbenko in 1996. This work organically combines skills and music, and it is infectious. It can be used as a set of etude textbook, as well as good concert program.This thesis is divided into three parts. The first part briefly introduces Derbenko’s lifetime and accordion compositions. The second part summarizes article characteristics of “Suite in Classic Style”. The third part analyzes music of “Suite in Classic Style”, and proposes some suggestions on performance.
