With the higher demand of people for all kinds of industrial products in modern social economic life, the waste of resources, energy shortages and many other environmental problems have increasingly become a hot topic, it means that how to change the way of life and production will be the solution to solve the problems of environment. Remanufacturing is one of the new production mode, it has been attached great important all over the whole society. However, growing interest in remanufacturing has highlighted the need to adopt appropriate decision-making management approaches that can solve the difficulties caused by the uncertainty of recycling, remanufacturing and redistribution. With the main aim of decision-making management being to propose reasonable and effective decision scheme for remanufacturing supply chain, attention is mainly drawn to the development of decision support system(DSS) for engineering machinery remanufacturing supply chain by using systems dynamics(SD) approach that can be used to analyze and simulate the operation of remanufacturing supply chains. Therefore, the process of building the proposed DSS is discussed in this thesis. The main research content are as follows:(1) System analysis.This paper firstly analyzes the problems existing in the engineering machinery remanufacturing process, business requirements of the decision system and the research methods. Then, in order to divide the system function structure, the remanufacturing supply chain network and its business process are analyzed. Besides, for the requirement of data flow in each functional module, data analysis process has focused on drawing data flow diagram and transforming the data into useful information for the decision system.(2) Simulation model of remanufacturing supply chain is built.By studying the long-term behavior and relationships within the remanufacturing supply chain and providing algorithm model for decision system, a system dynamics approach is used to build the simulation model. This approach provides an experimental tool, which can be used to evaluate the validity of the model and simulate the remanufacturing process. And this model is put forward to making algorithm program code of the decision system.(3) The design and implementation of the system.Firstly, the system’s detailed design is discussed, which includes the design of overall architecture, database and data table, as well as the program code. According to the system’s design, the final is to use the.net framework to build the system architecture and user interface of the decision system, and the effectiveness is discussed via system evaluation.
