Shuguang oilfield which is located in the west of liaohe depression is a small and rich oil fields. With the improving of the exploration technology, shuguang oilfield has entered a relatively mature stage of exploration, and the exploration is more difficult than before. The reservoir of the fault which contain rich oil and gas, large reserve have basically been found, so do high buried hill reservoir. But the low hill of carbonate zone distributed widely still has great potential for exploration.In view of the characteristic of shuguang lower hill’s high fracture development, complex structure, the large lithology changed, it use seismic, logging, drilling, lithologic analysis and other informations, finding out Ar in shuguang lower hill formation distribution and the change of formation; Carrying out the lower buried hill structure characteristics of the top boundary and fracture distribution characteristics with seismic structure interpretation; Studing the main rock types and distribution characteristics to evaluate the performance of lower buried hill reservoir; Exploring the effective interpretation method of lower buried hill fracture effectively; Figuring out the control factors with clear characteristics of the main reservoir; studying the main well; pointing out the advantageous petroliferous area of deep lower buried hill, guiding the deep buried hill’s exploration and well placement.Through the study it is concluded that:shuguang low buried hill is the combination of Ar formation’s mudstone, carbonate and quartz sandstone, with Angle unconformity contact in vertical. Reservoir spaces are fracture, secondary pore, solution seam which expand on the basis of above pore, different rock fracture developed different degrees. It makes sure reservoir standards with the help of deep lateral resistivity and acoustic. It chooses cracks development slate or shale rocks, using single point artificial calculation method for Angle explanation. The reserves of five blocks and developing three horizontal well are carried out.
