Mineral resources are the driving force to promote economic development; Drilling Project is an indispensable and important means for deep mineral exploration. For deep drilling requires a large investment, and a difficult construction, what’s more, a lot of problems and invisible factors can occur at any time. The advantages of wire line coring drilling include a high drilling efficiency and a good drilling stability as well as a good drilling verticality. Therefore, in the present stage of exploration, it’s particularly important to discuss the deep-hole wire line coring drilling technology.In the article, on the basis of deep-hole drilling theoretical research, the deep-hole wire line coring drilling technology of Don Javier mining area in Peru has been discussed, which involves drilling equipment technical support, design optimization of drilling structures, technologies of water proof wall for complicated stratum, drilling quality, comprehensive economic evaluation of drilling and a series of technical and economic issues, focusing on the technologies of water proof wall for complicated Stratum in the mining area deep holes. The purpose is to implement efficient, high-quality and economical deep-hole wire line coring drilling. Thus provide some references for the drilling technology in the deep mineral exploration. The specific research methods are as follows:1) The theoretical analysis of deep-hole wire line coring drilling. The wire line coring drilling tools’structures and working principles and the requirements of wire line coring drilling process parameters on the drilling were researched; The performance requirements of drilling rigs, mud pumps, drilling tools, drill bits and mud in deep-hole drilling were discussed.2) The mechanism analysis of the water proof wall in deep-hole wire line coring drilling of Don Javier mining area. Stable mechanics analysis and chemical analysis unstable in contact with water of the deep well’s wall were carried out. The instability processes of the well’s wall were researched, and the comprehensive measures to stabilize the walls of the hole were proposed.3) The actual research of the deep-hole wire line coring drilling project in the mining area. The equipments for construction, the structural design of the deep hole, the parameters of construction and the quality of drilling as well as the configurations of drilling mud in the mining area were researched. Problems including low efficiency and high drilling costs in the mining area’s drilling construction were discovered and summarized.4) The mechanisms of mud’s components were studied. Two basic recipes respectively for complete stratum and complicated stratum were proposed using existing slurry materials. A four-level, five factors orthogonal test was designed as a key point as to optimize the slurry formulations in the complicated stratum.5) The application effects of the slurry optimized were tested and the use of the slurry was promoted.Through a large number of laboratory experiments field applications, the results show that the mud system after optimal allocation had a better rheology, a less fluid loss, a better anti-collapse resistance and a better lubricity. It not only improved the drilling efficiency and reduced the production costs with a good technical and economical effect.
