The rapid development of domestic economy needs more mineral resources. As the mineral resources in the shallow formation are almost exhausted, the exploration of deeper formation resources is of great urgency. However, deep drilling requires high quality drilling equipment, especially for the most widely used wire-line coring drill. The thesis summarized the hole accidents caused by wire-line coring drill in the process of drilling. In the situation of a spring clip structure with more vulnerable parts and within the core plug hole accident led to a spring clip block head tube assembly and inner steps deadly jammed, this thesis mainly selected the positioning part to the design and analysis, some other structural design easy to cause hole accident was also optimized.First, on the bases of introducing the status quo of the wire-line coring drilling tools at home and abroad, focusing on the position mechanism, this thesis summarized the more simple, more accurate and more durable structures. Second, after the design and application of the new wire-line coring drilling tools were introduced, it theoretically analyzed the type of the force on positioning structure part in normal work or in an accident, and the easiest force to cause the structure destruction were summarized. Then using the ANSYS finite element simulation to analyze the data in different force, the stress, strain and deformation diagram of the structure were obtained and the largest damage position in theory was located. Third, after processing the drilling tool samples and carrying on the simple indoor debugging, preliminary optimization suggestions for the structure of drilling tool were put forward. Then the field trial was conducted. No accident happened during the field trial. The new wire-line coring drilling tools in the shallow hole coring stage perform well, the position mechanism functions accurately and reliably, and the core was successfully taken out. On the end of the field trial, the field workers put forward some optimized improvement advice according to their experience. Finally, according to the theory of simulation analysis, indoor debugging and field experiment, it puts forward several optimization improvement scheme focusing on the new wire-line core drilling tools, positioning structure part, including material optimization. Higher requirements are put forward on the precision of processing technology. Starting from the mechanism itself, prior theoretical simulation analysis with the different size and number of ball card was made. Choosing the optimal combination, certain references for the further optimization of the set of new type ball room card wire-line coring drilling tools were provided.The last chapter summarized the problems and bottlenecks in the process of deep-hole drilling, and put forward the suitable design optimization research for deep-hole drilling in the future.
