With the rapid development of the economy of global market,competition amongenterprises has became more and more intense.In this circumstance, the traditional anddecentralized way of inventory management could no longer meet the needs of enterprises,a centralized way of inventory management which is called Supply-Hub emerges.Theownership of the stock in Supply-Hub remains in suppliers, spare parts will be paid onlywhen they are shipped to the manufacturer’s production station. Many suppliers worry thattheir spare parts will be in stock for too long time and will cost too much,so they do notwant to join Supply-Hub.Currently,Supply-Hub are mostly operated by a third-partylogistics company. In order to attract suppliers to join Supply-Hub, it has importantsignificance to develop effective inventory control strategies which can reduce supplier’scosts at the same time can meet the demands of manufacturers and reduce the possibilityof non-stock of parts.Firstly, by summarizing the research status of supply chain inventory managementmodel, Supply-Hub model and Multi-Agent technology,this paper pointed out the shortageof recent research and proposed the main purpose and content.Then this paper summarizedthe basic theory of supply chain inventory management, Supply-Hub mode andMulti-Agent technology,and focused on introducing the concept, the basic theory and theoperational processes of Supply-Hub.Secondly, this paper described the problem,and studied the interests balance problembetween suppliers and manufactures under the inventory strategy of (s,S) ofSupply-Hub.Based on the multi-Agent simulation method,this paper set up a simulationprogramming model based on Multi-Agent and designed supplier Agent,supply-hub Agentand manufacture Agent.Then this paper used the UML for the interaction and negotiationbetween the modeling Agent.Thirdly,this paper set up Supply-Hub inventory strategy simulation model onAnylogic,designed the simulation procedure and analysised the function Agent of supplierAgent and supply-hub Agent.At the end of this sector,the way of data collection and analysis was designed.Finally,this paper designed three different cases and studied the influence ofSupply-Hub’s inventory policy change in each case on the average costs of suppliers andthe backorder of Supply-Hub. The optimal inventory policy of the system was found outwhich could balance the interests between suppliers and manufactures.Then this paperprovided some useful references for Supply-Hub operators to develop effective inventorypolicies.
