Yulong Copper(Molybdenum) deposit, located in the Sanjiang Tethys tectonic belt in eastern in Tibet, Complex tectonic frame work, It belongs to the Yulong porphyry copper(molybdenum) ore belt, and it not only is an important copper metal logenic zone, but also Changdu is an important base of nonferrous metal industry in China.Yulong Copper deposit was found earliest in Tibet, It is the first exploration of porphyry copper deposit which attractive a lot of attention for a long time. Geological characteristics of ore bodies as the core part of the ore deposit geological characteristics. It is the basic constraint to determine mineralization, ore controlling structures, metallogenic structural plane, deposit type, prospecting direction. But ore body geological characteristics of the research had been ignored for a long time and lead to public opinions are divergent on mineralization, ore controlling structures such questions. It also obstructed further research and more prospecting breakthrough severely. Predecessors had made a systematic research on the Yulong copper deposit, However, Related research was conducted based on the limited exploration engineering and the lately commercial exploration projects invested a lot of exploration engineering basically did not do in-depth research and there is a lack of more comprehensive grasp of the mine. Understanding on the geological characteristics of ore bodies remain limited. The author to bed Ⅰore body as the research object, for the most basic Ⅰore body geological characteristics of the selected topic has great theoretical significance and practical significance.The author will study on the basis of previous studies, Though all kinds of geological exploration data, And collected a large number of relevant literature,combined with many years of practical work experience and understanding in deposit, We have recorded partial drill core and carried on the detailed investigation to the whole mining area especially theⅠore body,though the dimine 3D digital mine software, I have established the geological database and 3D solid models, At the same time, Based on the various statistical analysis of sample data, The amount of resources on the application of distance power inverse ratio method was used to verify the re valuation. Compare to former exploration report submitted amount reserves to verify the reliability of the software and 3D model.Deepened the geological background and geological characteristics of the Ⅰore body through practically investigation and core logging work. TheⅠore body is the main subject of Yulong deposit, It account for 80% copper resource of the whole mining area. The porphyry and hornfels type disseminated sulfide ore of copper. In the west of the mining area, It has a good trend and metallogenic potential of copper below the tectonic pattern of relatively is simple, It is a typical representative of small intrusions become large ore deposi. The DIMINE software give us a visual image of the show in all directions. After the distance power inverse method of valuation, the grade of ore in the interval Cu, Mo elements in the ore and grade respectively in comparison with the segment method is widely used in geological exploration units, No matter the ore quantity,amount of metal or variation of coefficient less than 10% in a reasonable range,Therefore, DIMINE software has a very good effect in solid modeling and estimation of reserves it can display intuitive, efficient and accurate estimation of whole body and local block storage,There will be a wide range of applications in the aspects mining exploration in the near future.
